Puppy Training & Classes
Puppy classes are fun, friendly and involve learning how to implement the daily adjustments and lifestyle changes that a well-trained puppy will need to learn. My aim is to provide the best possible service, and to provide both a fun and informative environment for the owners and dogs. Courses run for a total of six weeks. Dog Training Services are able to provide other obedience classes when puppy classes are completed.
Your puppy will learn:
How to toilet in the appropriate places
How to walk nicely on a lead in various situations (paramount to puppy and owner/handler safety)
How to ignore distractions (cars, people, other dogs etc) and focus on the handler who is training them
How to play class and other games and to respond accordingly when being recalled out of play situation
How to be calm, still, cooperative and even to enjoy being petted, brushed/groomed and having their nails cut

A clicker is a small device that mark's or clicks on the good behaviour that the dog does. Because of the reward, this causes the dog to want to repeat the good behaviour.
